Chini Ke Shakarpare - Very Very Tasty Tasty

Shakarpara is an Indian sweet dish prepared during Diwali. It is sugar coated crispy diamond shaped sweet. It is made from wheat flour, ghee, and sugar. It is crispy and sweet. Shakarpara are sugar coated wheat flour pieces which are deep fried and then dipped into sugar syrup.

Ingredients Used:

  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsps of coarse semolina
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • Vegetable/ sunflower/ canola cooking oil for deep frying
